LCS is pleased to announce the promotion of Scott Plank to the position of Vice President and Principal, with a focus on complex technical projects. He will join the executive team and work closely with Jeff Laakso, Vice President and Principal of Construction, to oversee all construction operations. In this role, Scott will be managing the scheduling process for all projects, enhancing field systems and processes, and assisting with field operations.
Scott joined LCS as a Senior Project Manager in 2020. His 18 years of experience managing hi-tech commercial construction projects from inception, design, preconstruction, and construction through commissioning and closeout makes him an integral member of our team. He builds cross-functional teams by developing strong, positive relationships between owners, users, design team, contractors, inspectors, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction. His ability to view each construction phase as an integrated system allows him to facilitate proper project planning efforts to reduce risk and provide a quality project outcome.
“Scott has proven himself as a leader and mentor,” said Dominick Ranalli, President, CEO, and LCS Owner. “He’s taken the lead on tough assignments, managed demanding projects, and has been instrumental in helping structure, train, and develop LCS’s team in the field and the office. He fosters an atmosphere that helps bring out the best in our team.”
Scott strives to modernize business and workforce systems, as well as leading the deployment of new technologies that improve operational efficiencies. He is known for his leadership, problem-solving, team building, and motivating skills.
We look forward to his continued leadership and enthusiasm to build great things with LCS for our clients.
