Technical Plumbing and Piping Foreman– Southern California

LCS Constructors, Inc. (LCS), an established,
innovative, market-leading specialty construction firm based
in South Orange County, California, is seeking a Technical
Plumbing and Piping Foreman to join our California Division.
Our projects include large turn-key design and construction
of laboratories for a variety of industries.
ESSENTIAL RESPONISBILITIES
- Safety is the #1 priority.
- Manage a large crew and understand manpower loading.
- Create a complete material list and order.
- Draw Isometric drawings.
- Trouble shoot projects and resolve plumbing design problems
at job sites.
- Effectively communicate with clients and governing agencies.
- Working knowledge of computers.
- Fill out T&M paperwork.
- Complete understanding of UPC.
- Interpret project plans with the ability to read and understand
drawings.
- Lay out jobs, underground, top-out and finish.
- Understand and complete the following:
- acid waste piping
- DI and RO water piping
- specialty gas piping
- process piping
- process piping on fume hoods
- industrial and commercial waste and lab waste piping
- Manage and layout projects in a timely manner and within
a budget.
- Provide foreman level supervision and management of crews.
- Participate in continuing education by attending trade
related courses.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years commercial and industrial construction experience
- Must have own truck and rack complete with plumbing tool
list
- Some electrical and/or mechanical experience a plus
- Degree or certificate in a plumbing trade or technical
school a plus
