Senior Project Manager - Houston
LCS Constructors, Inc. (LCS), an established, innovative,
market-leading design-build construction firm, is seeking a
senior level Project Manager to lead design-build teams from
conception to completion of projects for a critical, sophisticated
client base, including multiple Fortune 500 companies, in our
Texas/Gulf Coast Division. Our projects include large scale
turnkey design and construction of laboratories and technical
facilities for a variety of industries.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, drive and manage major customer relationships
with chemical and petrochemical companies, biotechnology/pharmaceutical
companies, academic labs, hospitals, and analytical/clinical
testing service firms.
- Grow revenues from both existing
and new customers.
- Collaborate with Marketing & Business
Development to expand existing market segments, and to identify
and successfully penetrate new key market segments.
- Meet with
existing and potential new customers to understand their
requirements and educate them about our services.
- Assist with
the estimating and bidding process for projects and determine
and manage project profitability.
- Negotiate contracts and
successfully close sales cycles.
- Effectively manage internal
and outside design resources against company and project
goals.
- Identify value-engineering opportunities when necessary.
- Manage
and schedule field staff to successfully match skills to
job requirements.
- Administer all aspects of projects, including
subcontracts, submittals, change orders, progress billings,
and purchasing.
- Monitor project construction progress effectively.
- Plan
and administer project completion and facility commissioning
efficiently.
- Monitor quality of installations and ensure client
satisfaction.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years commercial/industrial construction experience
required.
- Minimum bachelor’s degree required. Degree
in construction management, engineering or related field
strongly preferred.
