Casework / Turnkey Project Manager – Houston
LCS Constructors, Inc. (LCS), an established, innovative,
market-leading design-build construction firm construction
firm, is seeking a Project Manager with a background in the
management of casework installation and turnkey projects. This
position will lead design-build teams from conception to completion
of projects for a critical, sophisticated client base, including
multiple Fortune 500 companies, in our Texas/Gulf Coast Division.
Our projects include large turn-key design and construction
of laboratories and technical facilities for a variety of industries.
ESSENTIAL
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, drive and manage major customer relationships
with chemical and petrochemical companies, biotechnology/pharmaceutical
companies, academic labs, hospitals, and analytical/clinical
testing service firms.
- Manage and schedule field
staff to successfully match skills to job requirements.
- Monitor
quality of installations and ensure client satisfaction.
- Assist
with the estimating and bidding process for projects and
determine and manage project profitability.
- Negotiate
contracts and successfully close sales cycles.
- Identify
value-engineering opportunities when necessary.
- Administer
all aspects of projects, including subcontracts, submittals,
change orders, progress billings, and purchasing.
- Develop,
drive and manage major partner relationships with key casework
and equipment manufacturing firms.
- Grow revenues
from both existing and new customers and partners.
- Meet
with customers and partners to understand their requirements
and educate them about our services.
- Lead customers
and partners through a consultative and solution-oriented
sales process that establishes strong, long lasting relationships.
- Be
creative in identifying methods to reduce competitive pressures,
influence the buying process and move deals forward.
- Collaborate
with Marketing & Business Development to identify and
successfully penetrate key market segments.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 10 + years casework and turnkey construction
experience
- Experience in laboratory, commercial
and industrial construction
- Contracting background
in casework and turnkey systems
- Bachelor's degree
in construction management or related field a plus
