LCS Laboratory Construction Case Study

Baker-Hughes INTEQ

“We got essentially all that we wanted at the budget we had originally contemplated, and I think LCS was the key player in that activity.”

Baker-Hughes INTEQ - LCS laboratory construction case study

When Baker-Hughes Inteq selected LCS to be a key player in the construction of their new 11,500 square foot laboratory, actual construction was only the beginning of the many services offered. LCS also had to coordinate the consolidation of four separate laboratories, each with its own unique function, into the new facility while satisfying the concerns and requirements of Baker’s Health Safety and Environmental Group.

LCS field craftsmen worked on all plumbing and specialty exhaust systems for the new lab, and installed all fume hoods, laboratory casework and equipment.

The LCS project manager also served as the facilitator and team leader for the meetings that were necessary to coordinate the varied and unique needs for each lab group which were consolidated into this new facility.
