American Institute of Architecture (AIA)
LCS is an associate
member of the American Institute of Architecture (AIA). The
AIA is based in Washington, D.C. and is the leading professional
membership association for licensed architects, emerging professionals,
and allied partners since 1857. With nearly 300 state and local
chapters, the AIA serves as a voice for the architecture profession
and a resource for its members in service to society. The AIA

American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning
Engineers (ASHRAE)
Founded
in 1894, ASHRAE is an international organization of 51,000 members. ASHRAE meets

Area Houston Economic Partnership (BAHEP)
LCS has been in partnership
with Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership (BAHEP) since 2005.
BAHEP is a non-profit organization that promotes the creation
of jobs through retention, expansion and recruitment of businesses.
LCS continues to support the organizations quest to stimulate

Clinical
Lab Management Association (CLMA)
The Clinical Lab Management
Association (CLMA) is a premier resource for laboratory professionals.
They were founded in 1976 and are an international association
with 4,000 clinical laboratory professionals. They provide
leadership in the clinical laboratory industry supporting laboratory
professionals at any stage of their career. They educate and
advocate on behalf of their members and play a leadership role
in enhancing the image and increasing the visibility of the

Design
Build Institute of America (DBIA)
An association led by design
and construction industry leaders, the Design Build Institute
of America (DBIA) utilizes design-build and integrated project
delivery methods with the goal of achieving high performance
projects. Founded in 1993, the DBIA is the only organization
of members who has brought together thousands of organizations
and individuals from architects, engineers, public and private
owners, general and specialty contractors, manufacturers and
suppliers, students, college and university faculty, legal
and finance professionals, and many others. As an industry
of many parts, the DBIA unifies the design and construction

Greater Houston Partnership
The principal objective of the Greater Houston Partnership, which
traces its roots back to Houston's original Chamber of Commerce
founded in 1840, is to build regional economic prosperity.
The Partnership facilitates relocations and expansions in the
Houston area; international outreach initiatives such as business
development missions outside the U.S. and receiving foreign
trade delegations; and strategic planning. The 10-county Houston
region encompasses Austin, Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Galveston,
Harris, Liberty, Montgomery, San Jacinto and Waller counties.

The
Jack Miller Network
LCS actively attends and participates in
Jack Miller’s
network and seminar series. The Jack Miller Network is a unique
group of professional contractors with over 700 members across
the United States and Canada. Its members gather formally twice
a year to practice "win-win sharing" of their experiences,
technical knowledge and buying power. The group continues networking
between meetings, through a member’s only section of

LabWize Educational Society
LabWize, Inc. is a non-profit
educational society dedicated to the development, growth and
strengthening of competitiveness for owners, architects, engineers
and manufacturers through designing and maintaining “state-of-the-art” laboratory
and cleanroom facilities. LabWize’s goal is to promote
sustainability and energy efficient design through the sharing
of “Best Practices” for laboratories. This information

Scientific
Equipment and Furniture Association (SEFA)
Organized in 1988,
the Scientific Equipment and Furniture Association (SEFA) was
created to meet the needs of an industry of lab designers and manufacturers
of laboratory furniture. With
a goal to create safe laboratory environments, SEFA members
work closely with laboratory owners, architects, contractors
and other groups in the industry striving to meet this goal.

Southern
California Biomedical Council
LCS joined the Southern California
Biomedical Council (SoCalBio) in 2009 and has actively participated
in their networking forums. SoCalBio is the trade association
of the life-sciences industry in the Los Angeles area with
a goal to represent and promote the medical device and biotechnology
industry in Los Angeles and Orange Counties as well as adjacent
communities in the Inland Empire and Gold Coast. This information
